About the role

We're seeking a motivated Inside Technical Sales professional who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer service and relationship-building. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical, automation, or industrial background looking to grow their career in technical sales while working alongside an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to customers seeking instrumentation and automation solutions
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their applications and technical requirements
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
• Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for additional products and services
• Develop a strong understanding of industrial process control, instrumentation, and automation systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project support
• Help drive sales growth through solution-based selling and customer education
• Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and customer communications

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, inside sales, or customer support within a technical environment
• Background in electrical systems, automation, controls, instrumentation, or industrial manufacturing preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend technical solutions
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Strong customer service mindset
• Professional communication skills
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and products
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or Automation Engineering background
• Experienced Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Technician looking to transition into sales
• Familiarity with industrial instrumentation, process controls, or temperature measurement applications
• Knowledge of industrial networking or automation systems is a plus
