Responsibilities
- Engage with existing and potential customers via phone, email, and online platforms to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospective customers.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery times.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, possible applications, technical specifications, and benefits to our customers and/or prospects.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers, including product selection, troubleshooting and customization options.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and sales contracts to customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements and expectations.
- Conduct remote visits and present igus products virtually as needed.
- Be able to ask qualifying questions to determine potential opportunities.
Requirements
- Successful candidates will have a college degree or previous experience.
- Computer literacy skills with Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus.
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Able and willing to follow instructions and directions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Articulate and fluent in the English language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of the rules of composition and grammar.
- Being at work during regularly scheduled work hours and being on time for each shift are essential functions of the job.
