About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is dedicated to safety and people, offering exceptional perks and benefits. We hire immediately and offer competitive pay starting at $23.15 to $31.85 per hour, with a quarterly performance bonus. Our typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Increasing revenue through acquiring new accounts and suggesting sales techniques.
• Fostering and nurturing professional relationships with customers, sales, dispatch, and management.
• Coordinating and delivering services to customers, including processing orders for deliveries and pick-ups, handling telephone inquiries involving some mechanical or operational troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment loading/unloading.
• Acting as a virtual link between customers, sales, dispatch, and management, ensuring quality solutions and service.
• Working approximately 80% in the office and 20% out in the yard, cross-training with dispatch.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience.
• A minimum of 2 years Inside sales (direct customer contact) experience preferred.
• Strong sales ability, identifying customer needs through suggestive selling or upselling, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working with a team and independently, able to handle any task.
• Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite knowledge and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), AS 400 highly preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively, have an infectious personality, and be capable of collaborating with other team members.
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to switch tasks easily.
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred, not required.

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted Driver's License, meeting the minimum age requirement of 21 to drive company vehicles.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly capable of communicating with a variety of people, maintaining a positive attitude.

Skills

• Microsoft Suite knowledge.
• Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).
• AS 400 knowledge.
