About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a desire to grow their career within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to ensure high-quality building products are provided to customers.
  • Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales.
  • Meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales.
  • Develop counter and win sales strategies, and create long-lasting relationships with new buyers.
  • Price quote and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Handle cash and credit functions responsibly.
  • Operate a PC and related software, and multitask to meet company timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales.
  • Market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Quickly learn and retain knowledge and awareness of new products, specialty products, and systems.
  • Provide support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed.
  • Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors.
  • Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies.
  • Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions.
  • Able to operate a PC and related software.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
