About the Role
In this role you will support our growing presence in the energy, mining, industrial power, and integrated bio-energy markets. This role is responsible for managing inside sales activities, developing new business opportunities, supporting customers and the outside sales team, processing orders and quotations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inside sales activities, including prospecting, developing opportunities, processing orders, and closing sales to drive revenue growth.
- Seek new business opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Support the outside sales team by preparing quotes, processing sales requests, and providing responsive customer service.
- Manage will-call orders, issue sales orders, coordinate order fulfillment, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Assist service technicians by supplying the equipment, tools, and materials needed to complete service and installation tasks.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly, professionally, and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate warehouse operations by following established shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment procedures.
- Keep the sales floor and warehouse clean, organized, and safe while adhering to company housekeeping standards.
- Process sales transactions, book service tickets, and provide customers with accurate product information and recommendations.
- Collaborate with employees across multiple locations to achieve sales objectives, support business operations, and uphold company core values, safety standards, and respectful workplace practices.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in inside sales.
- Experience selling automation equipment, instrumentation, pipe, valves, and fittings that apply to oil and gas production and measurement processes.
- Must be a positive motivator and professional role model.
- Persuasive, amiable, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
- Fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly is required. Exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $86,030.00/Yr. - USD $147,156.00/Yr.
