Inside Sales
About the role
Generates customer quotes and proposals based on customer requests via phone, email, or in person. Provides counter sales support and assists customers with products and services as needed. Follows up on quotes and proposals, negotiates as needed, and closes transactions. Coordinates shipping, material information requirements, and any other incidentals involved in getting the right product to the customer at the right time. Enters orders in the company’s ERP system based on established rules and practices.
Maintains working business relationships with established and new customers. Works with the Outside Sales Team and provides feedback and communication regarding accounts.
(Small Branches) – Assists as needed in the delivery of customer orders as well as pickup of materials.

- Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team and provide account feedback
- (Small Branches) Assist in delivering customer orders and picking up materials
Requirements
- Two plus years of business-to-business industrial sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Infor SXe software system is a plus
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely customer service
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Self-motivated to enhance personal development and company performance metrics
