Skills & Qualifications

  • Two plus years of business to business industrial sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and skill using Infor SXe software system is a plus.
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to effectively and timely service our customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required.
  • Self-motivated to enhance personal development and company performance metrics.

About the role

Generates customer quotes and proposals based on customer’s requests via phone or email or in person. Provides counter sales support and assists customers with products and services as needed. Follows up on quotes and proposals, negotiates as needed and closes transactions. Coordinates shipping, material information requirements for products and any other incidental involved in getting the right product to the customer at the right time. Enters orders in company’s ERP system based on established rules and practices. Maintains working business relationships with established and new customers. Works with Outside Sales Team and provides feedback and communication regarding accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Assists as needed in the delivery of customer orders as well as pick up of materials.

Two plus years of business to business industrial sales experience.
