Inpatient Surgical Nurse - Part Time - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care within an inpatient surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to promote patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Participate in activities to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, with no prior experience necessary.

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Must be able to work safely and remain alert in a safety-sensitive environment.
