About the Role

Provides direct patient care on an 18-bed inpatient surgical unit, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care.
• Educates patients and families on illness management.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
• Ensures effective communication across care teams.
• Adheres to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure.
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree (required).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• Less than 2 years of nursing experience (preferred).
