About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient surgical unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to established standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family‑centered care, educating on illness management, post‑treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, alongside ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care transitions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Preferred skills: Med/Surg background and strong critical‑thinking abilities.
