About the role

As the Inpatient Pharmacist, you provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including drug distribution, IV admixture preparation, medical therapy management, drug information dissemination, and compliance with controlled substance regulations. In this role, you directly supervise pharmacy support personnel. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services
• Perform drug distribution and IV admixture preparation
• Conduct medical therapy management
• Disseminate drug information
• Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations
• Directly supervise pharmacy support personnel

Requirements

• Pharm D degree or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with post-2006 experience
• Ability to manipulate sterile and non-sterile products as needed for compounding
• Ability to utilize electronic health record
• Registered pharmacist, licensed in good standing in the state of the facility location or eligible for licensure in that state

Schedule

• Full Time (40 hrs)
• Staggered start time – 2 pm or 3 pm; on the same time slot the entire week
• No weekends
• 2–3 holidays per year
• No on-call
