Inpatient Pharmacist
FTE: 1.0, Shift: day shift, Schedule: 8-80, day shift with night rotation
Position Summary
The Pharmacist is an exciting professional opportunity at MultiCare, ensuring prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses and physicians. This position will offer you the capacity to apply your knowledge and expertise toward supporting quality health services and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions
- Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
- Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work
- Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
- Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
Requirements
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay
The pay scale is $75.89 - $101.98 USD per hour. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
