Inpatient Dialysis Nurse (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient acute dialysis unit, utilizing advanced renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis and CVVHDF. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families. They will promote patient safety, educate on disease management, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and adherence to standards of nursing care. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care settings.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and ongoing professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; RN license required.Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of hospital bedside experience, preferably with dialysis knowledge.Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work safely and effectively in a high-acuity environment.
