Full-Time Dialysis Nurse (Night Shift)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient acute dialysis unit with 13 beds, utilizing advanced renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis, CVVHDF, CVVHD, and others. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and medication, ensuring safety and compliance, and addressing patients' physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and collaboration within a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective patient care in a 24-hour dialysis environment
• Develop and communicate care plans proactively
• Educate patients and families on treatment and post-care needs
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory activities
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hospital-based bedside RN experience
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• Current RN license
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
