About the role
The Inpatient Services RN CAP 1 is an entry-level registered nurse responsible for delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for dialysis patients.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient data
- Adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide patient and family education
- Administer medications
- Respond to emergencies
- Delegate tasks to direct care staff such as RNs, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Communicate with dialysis providers
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current state licensure
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 9 months of RN experience
- Preferred dialysis or ICU experience
