Registered Nurse Inpatient Dialysis

About the role

Full-time inpatient dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) position at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago. The Inpatient Dialysis unit provides adult hemodialysis care with four dialysis stations, offering hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy to a diverse group of patients with kidney failure. The team includes nephrologists, dialysis registered nurses, certified hemodialysis technicians, and other interdisciplinary members, focusing on maintaining and improving the health and quality of life for patients with renal disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to inpatient dialysis patients.
• Manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented unit and interdisciplinary professionals.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN).
• BLS Provider certification (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
• Previous dialysis experience.

Pay

• BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour.
• ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour.

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
