About the role

This position will serve as an IT Compliance Analyst within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).

Responsibilities

• Support MDOT with completing and maintaining System Security Plans for their 150+ applications.
• Interpret security implemented in applications based on NIST 800-53 and other required regulations, policies, and frameworks using the State of Michigan’s GRC tool, documentation, and other materials as required.
• Collect and organize responses and documentation for internal, State, or Federal audits.
• Train IT and non-IT staff on processes within the work area.
• Provide outreach to IT and non-IT staff.
• Data collection and conducting presentations on topics within the work area.

Position Location: This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Benefits

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
