About the role
The Peter Mkhtchian Agency is seeking a driven and ambitious In-Market Sales Representative to join our growing Farmers Insurance team. This is a full-cycle sales role where you'll be responsible for generating leads, developing relationships, presenting insurance solutions, and closing new business.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, prospecting, and lead generation activities
- Develop relationships with individuals, families, and business owners
- Conduct needs-based insurance consultations
- Present personalized Property & Casualty, Life, and other insurance solutions
- Guide prospects through the entire sales process from initial contact to policy issuance
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems
- Build referral partnerships and community relationships to drive long-term growth
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and production goals
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences that lead to retention and referrals
Requirements
- Previous sales experience in insurance, financial services, retail, automotive, home services, or business development preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Competitive and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Professional and consultative approach to sales
- Property & Casualty License preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Life License preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Pay
Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure, performance-based bonuses and incentives, and qualified lead opportunities and marketing support.
