About the role
The Imaging Supervisor oversees the operations across various imaging modalities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant service delivery. Key responsibilities include supervising personnel, developing/implementing policies, and maintaining equipment and environmental safety.Responsibilities
- Oversight of operations across nuclear medicine, MRI, and radiology
- Ensuring all activities meet established standards and foster a safe environment
- Supervision of personnel through performance management, staff selection, and training
- Aid in developing and refining policies, protocols, and procedures for quality improvement
- Maintain safety of diagnostic imaging equipment and overall environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing a variety of imaging examinations
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience
- Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure (state-specific fluoroscopy license required)
- Current BLS through American Heart Association (AHA BLS)
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Deep understanding of diagnostic imaging regulations and quality improvement methodologies
- Proven experience in personnel management and safety oversight within a healthcare setting
