Imaging Supervisor

About the role

Supervises the operations of the Corewell Health Hospitals Radiology Departments, through compliance with State, Federal and Joint Commission regulations. Plans, organizes, evaluates, controls and supervises all functions of the Radiology Department for all modalities but not limited to: Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), PET/CT, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Support Staff.

Works in collaboration with other team members and radiologists to continually improve services in support of the management team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a radiology/imaging modality Required.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field Preferred.
• 3 years of relevant clinical and or leadership experience in area of specialty within Radiology Required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• In addition, one of the following is Required upon Hire:
  • ARDMS or AART Computerized Tomography (CT)
  • AART or ARMRI MRI
  • ARDMS or ARRT Nuclear Med Technologist (N)
  • NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • ARDMS or ARRT Sonographer (S)
  • ARDMS or ARRT Mammography (M)
  • AART Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
  • ARDMS or ARRT Cardio Vascular Imaging (CI)
  • ARDMS or ARRT Vascular Sonographer (VS)
  • ARDMS or ARRT Vascular Technologist (VT)
  • ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer (R)
