ICU RN (Part-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role is ideal for nurses with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience interested in developing critical care skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance.Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the care team, patients, and families.Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers. Qualifications & Skills Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and active RN license.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience.Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe working practices. Additional Details Offers night shift differentials and full-time and part-time options. The unit provides a small environment for skill-building in critical care, with onsite support including a House Supervisor 24/7. Key duties include call shifts, weekend, and holiday rotations.
