ICU RN (Part-Time, Night Shift)

About the role

Provides direct bedside nursing care in a 6-bed Critical Care Unit, focusing on patients with respiratory distress, intubation, post-MI, and acute cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers.
• Maintain safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years hospital-based Med/Surg experience required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
