ICU RN (Part-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. It is ideal for nurses with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience interested in advancing into critical care.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to nursing standards.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and engaging in professional development.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality care.
