ICU RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care needs. This position emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Nurses develop and implement individualized care plans, assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and communicate effectively across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Promoting compassionate, family-centered care and patient education.
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional development.
• Assessing patient needs, preferences, and barriers, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
• Developing, documenting, and communicating comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the team and patients' families.

Qualifications and Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience; new graduates considered.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a healthcare environment.
