ICU Nurse (Part-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care needs. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.

Responsibilities

• Participating in safety and quality initiatives
• Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family
• Ensuring effective communication across care transitions
• Evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Licensed RN with current certification
• No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices
