Part Time ICU Nurse Night Shift

About the role

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety, quality, and compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, considering patient preferences and holistic needs. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional factors, fostering effective communication across care continuum. Maintains a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care, including education on post-treatment needs and medication management.
• Participate in activities that enhance safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and communicate comprehensive care plans.
• Assess patient needs holistically, respecting cultural, emotional, and spiritual factors.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• RN licensure required.
• No prior experience necessary, but two years of experience is preferred.
