ICU ( Registered Nurse)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ICU nursing care to critically ill patients on-site.
- Monitor patient status and promptly escalate changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per physician orders.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nurses to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a sterile, safe environment.
- Participate in continuous learning to meet growth and merit-based advancement.
- Prioritize patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and communicating care plans clearly.
- Assist in patient triage, prioritization, and resource planning within the unit.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and data-driven performance metrics.
- Adhere to shift schedules and maintain consistent on-site presence to meet targets.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the applicable state or country.
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care nursing experience.
- Competence in IV therapy, medication administration, and titration per orders.
- Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and rapid escalation to care team.
- Infection control adherence and strict sterile technique in ICU.
- Accurate documentation of assessments and interventions in EHR systems.
- Ability to participate in patient triage and resource planning within the unit.
- Collaborative communication with physicians, therapists, and nurses to ensure seamless care.
- Flexibility to work part-time on-site with consistent shifts and targets.
- Proven commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
