About the Role

Join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes through attentive monitoring and communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor care plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders.
• Manage discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Valid BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification within 180 days.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an appropriate diploma.
