About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, manage, and coordinate patient care during hospital stays, utilizing a patient‑centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, including admission, transfer, and post‑op evaluations, and document findings accurately.
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, labs, tests, and physician orders, setting short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Provide and document nursing interventions, collaborate with healthcare team members, administer medications, and educate patients and families about discharge and care plans.
- Monitor patient responses, evaluate care effectiveness, recognize changes in condition, and report significant findings promptly.
- Deliver specialized care, including restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Demonstrate accountability by adhering to quality standards, maintaining current knowledge, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide age‑appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing effective communication and involving families in decision‑making.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment, uphold infection control practices, and ensure proper documentation and communication.
- Deliver service excellence through courteous, empathetic interactions, and maintain patient confidentiality and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the relevant state, with current BLS certification.
- Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing work demands, work collaboratively, and uphold safety and infection control protocols.
- Commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and patient‑centered care.
