About the Role
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair, following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current Advanced Life Support certification within 180 days of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Schedule
Roles may include full-time night shifts or PRN nights and rotating shifts.
