Registered Nurse - ICU
Job Summary
This is a Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in the Medical ICU at a large academic medical center in Worcester, MA. The role is a Night shift (3x12 Hours) assignment with float requirements to other adult ICUs as needed, and scheduling is based on the needs of the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Medical ICU setting
- Floating to other adult ICUs as needed
- Utilize Epic for charting and clinical documentation
- Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend/holiday)
- Follow unit scheduling based on the needs of the unit; no block schedules can be accommodated
Education Requirements
- MA RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Required Experience
- 2 years ICU experience highly preferred; candidates with under 2 years will still be considered
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Night shift (3x12 Hours), 19:00–7:30
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Floating to other adult ICUs as needed
- Scheduling is based on the needs of the unit; absolutely no block schedules can be accommodated
- Flu vaccine: Required — Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- Covid-19 vaccine: Not required
