Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary

This is a Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in the Medical ICU at a large academic medical center in Worcester, MA. The role is a Night shift (3x12 Hours) assignment with float requirements to other adult ICUs as needed, and scheduling is based on the needs of the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Medical ICU setting
• Floating to other adult ICUs as needed
• Utilize Epic for charting and clinical documentation
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend/holiday)
• Follow unit scheduling based on the needs of the unit; no block schedules can be accommodated

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Required Experience

• 2 years ICU experience highly preferred; candidates with under 2 years will still be considered

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift (3x12 Hours), 19:00–7:30
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Floating to other adult ICUs as needed
• Scheduling is based on the needs of the unit; absolutely no block schedules can be accommodated
• Flu vaccine: Required — Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
• Covid-19 vaccine: Not required
