About the role
This ICU Clinical Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) role involves providing both clinical care and managerial duties within an ICU unit.
Responsibilities
- Direct and indirect patient care
- Participating in hiring and disciplinary actions
- Communicating with physicians and staff about patient conditions
- Assessing and managing patient pain
- Revising care plans based on patient responses
- Educating patients and families
Qualifications
- Current Nevada RN licensure
- Minimum three years of nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications as appropriate
- Preferably a Bachelor's in Nursing or enrolled in an accredited program within one year
