Ice Cream Logistics Supervisor
About the role
This position is responsible for managing all areas of the Logistics function such as current production planning, raw pack cycle count, finished goods, warehousing, material storage, and product deployment. In liaison with the Corporate Supply Management, directs all planning activities necessary to support efficient plant operations, directs the Warehouse operations utilization, material handling, customer order volume, inbound shipments, stock transfer shipments and overflow warehousing. Supports ICMS pillars with primary focus around manufacturing support, safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all functions occurring within the freezer/warehouse department including the management of departmental budget.
- Create, enter, and work with purchase orders.
- Understand and use codes and account numbers.
- Identify and process defective materials.
- Inventory control.
- Work with audits.
- Schedule incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate of department personnel.
- Coordinate production scheduling with both the corporate office and the local manufacturing department.
- Communicate with external vendors and internal departments regarding logistical issues.
- Effective communication with all personnel levels.
- Participate on Leadership Team.
- Able to become HAZWOPER certified, be an emergency response member and have knowledge of the EAP (emergency Action Plan).
Requirements

- Ability to navigate and use web-based programs such as BuildApp, Weever, Megamation, DFOS, SPC, etc.
- Associates or B.S. Degree Preferred.
- Three to Five years’ experience in production scheduling.
- Identifies Supply Chain improvement opportunities.
- Recognizes the potential impact of change on a factor e.g. process, product and people.
- Creates a detailed materials plan and is responsible for the transition of materials.
- Understands inventory and warehouse capacity planning and communicates this effectively to the business.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
