Hybrid Pharmacist - 4 Days Retail / 1 Day Remote

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive pharmacy services, including compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of medications within regulatory and company guidelines. Works effectively in various environments—store, call center, micro-fulfillment, or remote—and delivers empathetic pharmacy consulting to patients, focusing on medication usage, drug interactions, and clinical healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs medication management tasks, including drug therapy reviews and verification.
• Enhances patient experience through consultations, medication management, and wellness services, addressing patient concerns and resolving queries promptly.
• Supports centralized tasks like patient registration, issue resolution, and prescription reviews.
• Provides expertise and training to team members, promotes teamwork, and supports staff development.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, manages inventory, and oversees pharmacy operations including opening, closing, and shift changes.
• Builds relationships with healthcare providers, clarifies prescriptions, and participates in community outreach.
• Maintains current knowledge of pharmacy systems, processes insurance claims, and ensures adherence to policies and standards.
• Engages in continuous improvement, professional development, and stays updated on pharmacy trends and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree with current licensure.
• Experience in prescription dispensing, knowledge of controlled substances laws, and pharmacy technology systems.
• Ability to work across diverse environments and travel as needed.
• Preferred: One year of pharmacy experience, specialized training in medication/disease management, and proficiency with pharmacy software.
