Hybrid Pharmacist - 4 Days Retail / 1 Day Remote

About the role

A licensed pharmacist providing comprehensive pharmacy services across retail locations, with one day per week working remotely to support centralized functions.

Responsibilities

• Compound, dispense, review, and verify prescribed medications within regulatory and company guidelines.
• Deliver patient-centered healthcare services, including medication management, drug therapy reviews, immunizations, and disease state management.
• Support pharmacy operations by optimizing workflow, inventory, and financial performance.
• Provide consultation to patients both in-person and virtually, addressing concerns and medication questions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, maintain professional relationships, and participate in community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards while managing pharmacy systems and insurance claims.
• Lead and support pharmacy staff, promote teamwork, and foster professional development.

Requirements

• BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist license and immunizer certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Experience with prescription dispensing, pharmacy operations, and relevant technology systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in specialty pharmacy areas.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software.
• Knowledge of third-party billing and compliance.
