About the role

Role Overview This position involves ensuring accurate compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory and company guidelines. It requires providing pharmacy consulting services with empathy, including in-person and remote patient interactions, focusing on medication usage, drug interactions, and clinical healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing. The role supports pharmacy operations, inventory management, and financial optimization while fostering a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy tasks including medication compounding, therapy reviews, verification, and dispensing.
• Enhance patient care through consultations, medication management, immunizations, and wellness programs.
• Support patient registration, resolve issues, and conduct virtual or in-person prescription reviews.
• Provide training, promote teamwork, and support adherence to policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, manage insurance claims, and maintain community relationships.
• Analyze performance data, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on pharmacy systems, technology, and industry trends, seeking ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree; current state license.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one.
• Ability to work effectively in various environments and travel as needed.
• Preferred: 1+ years of pharmacy experience, proficiency with pharmacy software and technology, and specialized training in disease states or clinical services.
