Hybrid Pharmacist - 4 Days Retail / 1 Day Remote

About the role

This position involves performing pharmacy duties across various settings, including retail stores, centralized services, and virtual environments. The pharmacist is responsible for compounding, dispensing, reviewing, and verifying medications in compliance with regulations and policies. They provide patient‑centered pharmacy consulting, offering medication management, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and clinical services to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and review prescribed medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Deliver healthcare services such as medication therapy reviews, immunizations, and disease management, addressing patient concerns empathetically.
• Support centralized operations including patient registration, issue resolution, and virtual consultations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, maintain relationships, and clarify prescriptions and medication interactions.
• Assist in optimizing pharmacy workflow, inventory, and financial performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to staff training, promote teamwork, and support community outreach activities.
• Stay updated on pharmacy systems, technology, regulations, and industry trends, maintaining necessary licenses and certifications.

Qualifications

• BS or Doctorate in Pharmacy with a valid state license.
• Experience in prescription dispensing and knowledge of controlled substance laws.
• Willingness to become an immunizer if not already certified.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including retail, centralized, and virtual settings.
• Preferred experience includes at least one year in pharmacy operations, medication management, and pharmacy software systems.
