HVAC Truck Based Serviceman (union)

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on comfort, building inefficiency, and other service-related issues.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Identify enhancements that improve customer system reliability and sustainability during service.
• Provide labor and material quotes to support recommended solutions.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• Two (2) years practical working experience in commercial and/or industrial mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Preferred

• Five (5) years of Commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and minor repair of pumps, VFD’s, Air Handling Units, and Rooftop units.
