HVAC/R Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
• Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shifts with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Purchases goods and services, ensuring quality, delivery budget, and environmental objectives are met.
• Responds to field communications, locates vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies, and interviews them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Administers on-line purchasing systems.
• Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Issues inventory reports, in/out status reports, dead stock reports, goods age reports, and consumption reports.
• Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
• Responsible for tool inventory and control: tool transfers log in/out forms, cleans up, maintains and repairs tools.
• Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivers tools to the jobsite.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
• Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.
