Human Resources Project Specialist

About the role

We're seeking a Human Resources Project Specialist to join our Human Resources Portfolio and Project Management team. This role is based at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR projects from concept through execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business
• Provide project management expertise to move critical initiatives forward
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, communication plans, stakeholder maps, and RAID logs
• Maintain project progress and identify risks, issues, and dependencies
• Provide clear status updates and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership
• Achieve project objectives, deliverables, and success measures
• Serve as a flexible resource on projects and HR initiatives
• Support and consistently use project management tools, methodologies, and processes
• Contribute to project management resources, templates, and educational materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of professional experience including project coordination/management, preferably within Human Resources
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively across teams
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources
• Project management experience
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with project management tools, dashboards, and reporting practices

Benefits

In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges. The starting salary range for this position is $70,800 - $106,200.
