About the role

The People Team (HR) Intern will provide solutions-driven support to the People Team. This individual will gain a unique opportunity to see how HR strategy and academic theory translate into day-to-day practice in both manufacturing and office environments, building the skills and judgment needed for a successful career in HR.

The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from Tuesday June 1, 2027 to Friday August 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRBP to support day-to-day people operations across Manufacturing, R&D, and Product teams
  • Assist with employee engagement efforts
  • Maintain a working understanding of HR policies, programs, plans, and initiatives
  • Help establish and refine SOPs and other HR processes in partnership with the People Team and business leaders
  • Collaborate with People Team members across functions to brainstorm and pilot new programs
  • Surface trends or issues from the floor and prepare recommendations to the HRBP for process or program improvement
  • Provide light administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student majoring in: Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Adaptive and flexible to work on an agile HR team in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable spending time on a manufacturing floor and interfacing directly with employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a high level of discretion
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS tools
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solutions-driven, curious mindset

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, though a candidate's hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
