Position Highlights

As An HR Operations Leaves Specialist, You Will Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR policies and parental leave requests.
Administer parental leave of absence programs nationally, providing support and clear communication to employees and stakeholders.
Proactively consult on eligibility, plan provisions, and processes related to leaves; resolve both routine and complex issues with compassion and care.
Accurately document every inquiry or issue in the case management system, maintaining thorough and up-to-date records.
Prepare, process, and review leave paperwork in compliance with Stryker policies and governing regulations.
Sure employees receive accurate payments during their leave.
Clearly communicate updates on leave status and escalate issues or policy interpretations as needed.
Work closely with HR partners and COEs to promote consistency and compliance.

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience administering Leaves of Absence programs
  • Prior HR Operations, HR COE, or related business-facing HR experience
  • Prior Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of leave and benefits laws such as FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA
