About the Role
This Human Resources Generalist role supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee engagement. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and employees to strengthen workplace culture, improve employee experiences, and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven HR professional who enjoys collaborating with others, solving problems, and creating a positive work environment.
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate and new hire experience throughout the hiring process.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, HR guidance, and day-to-day employee support.
- Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Partner with managers to improve employee engagement, communication, and workplace culture.
- Support HR initiatives, employee development programs, and organizational growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent employee support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in benefits administration and HR compliance.
- Experience working in a collaborative, mission-driven organization.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Pay
$70,000–$85,000
