Human Resources Generalist - Precision Welding Systems Division

About the role

Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Precision Welding Solutions Division. In this role, you’ll shape the employee experience and culture by leading day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations & Development: Coach and counsel managers and employees on performance management, employee engagement, and career development. Facilitate training on compliance, professional development, and conflict resolution. Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment. Assess employee engagement and develop action plans to support a positive workplace culture.
• Wellness Program Leadership: Own and manage the division’s wellness program, coordinating initiatives and events that support physical, mental, and financial well-being.
• HR Policy, Administration & Projects: Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures. Lead or support special HR initiatives such as talent reviews, change management efforts, and engagement strategies.
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts by partnering with managers and the internal Talent Acquisition team. Conduct interviews, manage offer processes, and ensure an engaging onboarding experience. Maintain compliance with Affirmative Action Plan requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Proven HR generalist experience with an emphasis on manufacturing support, workforce development, or similar environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing preferred.
