Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for all workers' compensation claims and related processes.
  • Coordinate injury reporting, claim submission, investigations, and communications with employees, managers, medical providers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
  • Manage return-to-work and transitional duty programs.
  • Monitor claim status, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Track injury trends and provide recommendations to reduce workplace incidents and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Support employee relations as necessary.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, salary changes, organizational updates, and employee data maintenance.
  • Maintain HRIS records and ensure data integrity.
  • Care for onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
  • Provide support and guidance regarding employee benefits programs and leave of absence processes.
  • Coordinate employee communications and assist with issue resolution.
  • Partners with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities, and HR programs.
  • Support implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports related to workers' compensation, HR operations, and workforce metrics.
  • Afford assistance with audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, including 3-5 years Human Resource Generalist experience.
  • Experience administering workers’ compensation programs and return-to-work processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, leave administration, worker’s compensation and HR operations.
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems required.
  • SPHR/PHR preferred.
