Fullerton College is accepting applications for part-time Human Anatomy Instructors for Spring 2026 and ongoing.

About the Role

Teach ANAT 231 F Human Anatomy, an in-person course that meets twice a week. Morning, afternoon, and evening sections are possible.

Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct student dissections
  • Instruct using anatomical and histological specimens and models
  • Employ multi-modal, student-centered pedagogy to support first-generation, immigrant, and low-income students
  • Participate in curriculum development, program self-assessment, and SLO assessment

Requirements

  • Master’s in any biological science, or
  • Bachelor’s in any biological science and Master’s in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science, or
  • Valid California teaching credential authorizing community college instruction in the subject area, or
  • Equivalent qualifications as determined by the District Equivalency Committee

All degrees must be from accredited postsecondary institutions and verifiable on a legible transcript. Foreign degrees require evaluation; see district website for details.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff
  • Commitment to equity-minded practices in the classroom
  • Experience teaching in-person laboratories (desirable)
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment (desirable)

Pay

  • $1,391.74 – $1,527.30 per lecture unit
  • $1,391.74 – $1,527.30 per lab parity unit
  • $1,113.42 – $1,221.77 per lab unit

This is a continuous recruitment for part-time, temporary assignments filled on an as-needed basis. Applications will be reviewed as positions become available.
