Department Information

The Department of Educational Technology and Foundations (ETF) focuses on preparing current and future educators through authentic learning experiences, active engagement, and innovative strategies. The department’s mission is to support student success by helping learners think deeply about cognition, learning, and the application of technologies in various environments.

ETF offers programs in Instructional Design and Technology, including an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Instructional Technology, Media, and Design, as well as Georgia PSC credentials such as Instructional Technology Certification and the Online Teaching Endorsement.

About the Role

The Department of Educational Technology and Foundations (ETF) in the College of Education (COE) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty in the area of Instructional Technology. These positions may be available every semester and are critical to the department’s mission.

Requirements

  • 18 hours in post-graduate Instructional Technology courses
  • Experience teaching in a fully online environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • An earned doctorate in the field of Instructional Technology or a related field
