HS/PRS Case Manager - Global Refuge

About the role

The HS/PRS Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive support to refugees and asylum seekers in their resettlement process. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, and offering emotional and practical support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and community partners to facilitate the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers.
• Assist clients with obtaining necessary documentation and resources for their integration into the community.
• Provide counseling and support services to help clients adjust to life in the new country.
• Ensure all client cases are up-to-date and compliant with immigration regulations.
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with refugees and asylum seekers.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.
