HRIS Benefits Implementation Consultant

About the role
Implementation Consultants are responsible for the support, training, best practice coaching, and implementation process for new NEOGOV customers. In this position, you will work with a team of highly skilled consultants, managers, developers, and subject matter experts to support multiple HRIS customers implementing a variety of NEOGOV HRIS products, specifically our Benefits platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop an applicable understanding of NEOGOV’s Implementation and Configuration practices.
- Execute deployments (implementations) and best practice coaching for small-mid size customers.
- Demonstrate configurations through building prototype systems and assist in testing.
- Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs, status reports, and time/budget reports.
- Identify system improvements and process opportunities in HRIS and Benefits product pillar.
- Track support level and customer satisfaction metrics by ensuring support SLAs are being achieved and exceeded.
- Serve as a coach, mentor, knowledge resource, and escalation point for customers and support representatives.
- Participate in City Tours, NEOGOV’s Annual Conference, industry events, and face-to-face customer meetings (Travel - 20%).

Qualifications
- B.A/B.S or equivalent work experience in the HRIS and Benefits field.
- Proficient knowledge of Human Capital Management and Benefits space.
- Previous consulting or implementation experience in a technical and/or HR space.
- Working knowledge of the public sector is preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record of setting expectations, communicating goals and objectives with customers and teammates.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience learning technology quickly and applying business analysis strategies.
