Responsibilities
- Provide HR, payroll, and benefits support via phone, email, and case management systems
- Aid employees and managers with HRIS (Workday) transactions and inquiries
- Process employee data changes, including hires, terminations, promotions, pay changes, leave requests, and benefits updates
- Administer employee benefit programs and maintain accurate employee records
- Ensure data integrity within Workday and HR systems
- Investigate and resolve employee inquiries, escalating issues when necessary
- Document customer interactions and maintain case records
- Coach employees on self-service tools and resources
- Collaborate with HR team members and functional departments
- Identify, document, and support process improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report inquiry trends and recurring issues
- Support special projects and additional HR administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma and HR-related experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- HR, payroll, benefits, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits processes and policies
- Customer service or call center experience preferred; HR Shared Services experience a plus
- Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic analytical, problem-solving, and system navigation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Spanish bilingual skills preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
